Confirmation Retreat 2023

Our second year Confirmation students had their annual retreat on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the church. The retreat was lead by Brandon, Josh, Mario, and Rozie from the NYC Catholic Retreats team. The retreat was based on the theme “Holiness & Mission” founded on the universal call of Matthew 5:48 – “Be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” The retreat included the following talks:

Talk #1 “Chosen” (a talk on identity and purpose in Christ and how He chooses us, see Matthew 4:18-22 and Ephesians 1:3-6)

Talk #2 “Equipped” (a talk on how the Holy Spirit works through us to carry out our purpose and mission, see Acts 2)

Talk #3 “Sent” (a talk on practical ways to be a witness of Christ for others and to live fully alive as a disciple of Christ, see Matthew 28:18-20)

We ended the retreat with a holy hour.
