On Sunday, October 8 we held our annual blessing of animals in honor of St. Francis of Assisi in the parish gardens. We had a number of parishioners in attendance with their pets. Fr. Roland, our associate pastor, blessed the animals. The members of the third order Franciscan group provided the people with hot coffee and bread. We had a very pleasant time where many of our parishioners were able to take pictures and share with their friends. Every celebration in our community is a unique way to show God’s love while creating memories and stronger community bonds.
