We celebrated Corpus Christi, the solemnity of the most holy body and blood of christ with a eucharistic procession and a bilingual holy hour. The eucharist was exposed for adoration at the garden beside the church. Father Fernando Real, M.Id the procurator of the mens branch of the Idente Missionaries shared with us a reflection on the eucharist. We had music by both English and Spanish choirs of the parish.
The procession with the Blessed Sacrament – a hallmark of the feast of Corpus Domini, yet one that for the moment we cannot celebrate – reminds us that we are called to go out and bring Jesus to others. To go out with enthusiasm, bringing Christ to those we meet in our daily lives.
