Corpus Christi Procession and Adoration

On Thursday, June 16 at 7:30pm we held a Corpus Christi Procession and Adoration. The procession began in the church, it then continued along the church property in front of the faith formation center, then through the parking lot, and finally ending at church basement. The procession included the alter servers, the first communion students who recently received their sacrament, the various choirs of the parish, the different parish youth, young adult, and adult groups, and other faithful parishioners. During the time of adoration in the basement, the representatives of around twenty parish groups came forward to offer short prayers to Christ. The choir sang a few devotional hymns.

This year, on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, the Catholic Church in the United States begins a three-year Eucharistic Revival. The Revival will culminate with a National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis in July 2024.
