On Saturday, October 15th the Hispanic young adult group Nuevo Amanecer celebrated “El día de la raza.” The group as always did a great job in putting this event. They had members representing different countries and their culture, creating a great atmosphere for our community who enjoyed the diversity of folk dance, and typical food. It was a night of joy, fun and lots of laughter. Our parish community was present showing their support and appreciation and at the same time they enjoyed a unique night. Together we all celebrated the joy of our roots and the knowledge that we are all one family in Jesus Christ.
