The Feast of Our Lady of Loretto, the patroness of our parish, was celebrated with a solemn mass by Bishop Andrzej Zglejszewski, auxilary bishop of the diocese of rockville center. The organization of the feast was lead by the members of the sodality of Our Lady of Loretto parish group. We had students from Sacred Heart Academy, and Kellenberg Memorial High School participate in the mass. Also, in attendance were the teens from Idente Youth (our parish youth group), and the children from the school of altar servers. Many other parishioners attended the mass as well. This was the first time that we were able to celebrate a solemn mass for the feast. In the past years, since the feast day was on a weekday, and in close proximity to the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, we were unable to celebrate a special mass.
